Applied to skin wounds, hyaluronic acid has been shown to reduce the size of wounds and decrease pain faster than a placebo or no treatment at all. Hyaluronic acid also has antibacterial properties, so it can help reduce the risk of infection when directly applied to open wounds. Furthermore, hyaluronic acid is effective at helping combat gum disease, helping speed up healing after tooth surgery, and helping eliminate ulcers when used topically in the mouth. Hyaluronic Acid is also an excellent skin moisturizer.

Lactic Acid

Lactic Acid is not always a milk derived product like lactose. The Lactic Acid we source is actually vegan - it is produced through the fermentation of carbohydrates such as sucrose, glucose, or beet juice. Our lactic acid's main source is from sugar cane. Used to lower the pH of formulations, lactic acid is also a well known disinfectant.

Lactose
